Don't Leave the Hound at Home – We Offer Pet Friendly Accommodation on Culburra Beach
We invite our guests to bring along their dogs. We offer pet friendly accommodation at Culburra beach and have amenities to help your pooch feel comfortable. There is a large, fully fenced garden for your family dog with plenty of space for them to run around and explore.
The garden is fenced on the beach side of the property so with the floor-to-ceiling doors open; your dog can interact with the family from the lawn or wander in and out of the house as they please. There are also several shady places in the garden to enjoy a nap.
We supply dog bowls, toys and a medium-sized Barney Bed.
Preparing Your Dog for a Trip to Culburra
Culburra Beach is one of the NSW South Coast's few dog-friendly beaches, so you can take your furry friend down to explore the beach or swim. We have dog bowls in the house and a medium-sized Barney Bed suitable for smaller dogs. Your dog is most welcome in the house, but please keep them off the furniture to protect it for our other guests.
Don't forget to apply tick medication before you leave home, as at certain times of the year, ticks inhabit the foreshore bushes and can be deadly to dogs. Please note: Some brands of tick medication require application more than 24 hours before swimming.
If There Are Any Emergencies, Visit Our Local Vet
In case of an emergency, or if you've arrived without applying tick medication, you'll need to visit Culburra Veterinary Clinic at 7 Weston St, Culburra Beach, NSW 2540. You can call them on (02) 4447 3851 or visit their website.
If the vet is closed, you might need to drive to Nowra to purchase tick medication from Petbarn, as The Culburra Beach supermarket doesn't stock tick medication. Petbarn Nowra is at 104 Worrigee St, Nowra. Call them on (02) 9146 1164 or look at their website for more information.
