Travel writer Kendall Hill wrote the following review: "This tasteful, two-storey beachfront house, on one of the NSW's South Coast's least spoiled beaches, has had a designer makeover.

The timber-floored living area opens to a wooden deck that gives on to scrubby sand dunes and the rolling surf of Culburra. Living areas, bedrooms and even indoor-outdoor bathrooms have been cleverly designed to maximise sea views. A cool children's bunk room makes for big happy families."
